About Us
A mix between escape rooms and cryptic treasure hunts, UrbiHunt is a Danish mystery concept with games in Aarhus and Copenhagen.
We created UrbiHunt for two reasons. First and foremost, we love creating experiences that engage and surprise people, and get them out there playing and moving. At the same time, we think urban heritage is hugely underrated. There are SO many quirky details and impressive views that you simply don’t notice when you’re just getting from A to B. With UrbiHunt, the city itself becomes a game board where you can play, crack cryptic codes and discover something new along the way.
We develop our experiences ourselves, combining local knowledge, creativity and a passion for games. And we walk the streets - a lot - to find the best quirky details, hidden gems and little surprises the city has to offer.
Our specially developed app brings the games to life, making the experience interactive with features such as GPS and time tracking. It also means you can get started whenever you’re ready, without having to wait for anyone or deal with paper. We’re particularly proud of the latter, as it also makes the experience more sustainable by reducing energy consumption.
But now it’s your turn. The city is in danger, and your detective skills are in high demand!
